چکیده
An implicit multiscale method with multiple macroscopic prediction for steady state solutions of gas flow in all regimes is presented. The based on the finite volume discrete velocity (DVM) framework. At cell interface, a numerical flux construction similar to unified gas-kinetic scheme (DUGKS) applied ensure property and make free from influence Knudsen number. idea variable adopted further developed form an efficient method, where second order Navier-Stokes (NS) equation constructed predict variables residuals microscopic system, then structure formed. accurate procedure endows system high convergence speed regimes, especially continuum regime NS solution directly predicted accelerated greatly. Test cases show that present efficient, one magnitude faster than previous prediction-based regime.

Pseudo Steady State Gas Flow in Tight Reservoir under Dual Mechanism Flow
Gas reservoirs with low permeability (k<0.1 mD) are among the unconventional reservoirs and are commonly termed as "Tight Gas Reservoirs". In conventional gas reservoirs that have high permeability, the flow of gas is basically controlled by the reservoir permeability and it is calculated using the Darcy equation. In these reservoirs, gas flow due to gas diffusion is ignored compared to Dar...
متن کاملSteady state solutions for a lubrication multi-fluid flow
Abstract In this paper, we describe possible solutions for a stationary flow of two superposed fluids between two close surfaces in relative motion. Physically, this study is within the lubrication framework, in which it is of interest to predict the relative positions of the lubricant and the air in the device. Mathematically, we observe that this problem corresponds to finding the interface b...

متن کاملSequential Implicit Numerical Scheme for Pollutant and Heat Transport in a Plane-Poiseuille Flow
A sequential implicit numerical scheme is proposed for a system of partial differential equations defining the transport of heat and mass in the channel flow of a variable-viscosity fluid. By adopting the backward difference scheme for time derivative and the central difference scheme for the spatial derivatives, an implicit finite difference scheme is formulated. The variable-coefficient diffu...
